Google has made Gemini a default, always-on layer inside Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Meet for all Workspace tiers.

Meeting notes, email drafting and spreadsheet analysis now happen in-line without opening a separate chat — the clearest sign yet that AI assistants are becoming invisible infrastructure.
